ACCOMPLISHMENTS
TEN YEARS OF LOVE
❖ Por Diez años Ministerio Latino ha dado la bienvenida de manera total a miembres de la comunidad Latina inmigrante y miembres de la comunidad LGBTQI. Como dijo une de nuestres participantes:
“Nada se queda afuera cuando venimos a Ministerio Latino, todo lo que somos entra a este santuario.”
❖ Ministerio Latino fue refugio y apoyo para personas afectadas el COVID 19 durante el año 2020. Recaudamos alrededor de $30,000 con los que pudimos ayudar a 80 personas y familias inmigrantes. 65% de las personas que ayudamos son personas buscando asilo en EEUU y de mujeres trans
❖ Ministerio Latino ha bautizado a hombres y mujeres trans, haciendo visible su divinidad y recibiendolos abiertamente en la fe.
❖ For ten years, Ministerio Latino has embraced Latinx immigrants, members of the LGBTQI and welcome all of who they are. As one of our members stated “Nothing stays at the door at Ministerio Latino, everything you are comes in.”
❖ During 2020, Ministerio Latino was a refuge and lifeline for many affected by the economic crisis due to COVID 19. We fundraised over $30,000 and were able to help 80 immigrant Latinx individuals and families. 65% of the people we were able to help were asylum seekers and trans women.
❖ Ministerio Latino has baptized trans men and women, making visible their divinity and welcoming them in the faith
